About Liz.
I have been studying and practicing in the field of rehabilitation medicine, bodywork and energy medicine since 2000. I received a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Brain Injury/Stroke Rehab for 11 years. What an honor it was to witness patients continually beat the odds of their prognosis! Always a student of the body and its limitless potential to balance and repair, I became a certified Bowenwork Practitioner in 2013. As my interest developed in how the fascial system is interconnected with all the body’s systems, I went back to school to obtain a license in bodywork, completed many different certifications including Craniosacral and Core Synchronization. The 2 year mentorship in Tensegrity Medicine™ not only taught me objective assessments and more techniques but how to integrate the bodywork through movement and dialoguing skills related to belief systems and perceptions to obtain long lasting results. A 2 year mentorship with Prune Harris, energy medicine expert, teaches how to balance all parts of our energy anatomy (energetic core, meridians, bioelectrics, chakras, aura, heart field and elementals) in relation to the physical.
I am a mother of two great kids that mirror me and challenge my growth every day! My focus as a Tensegrity Medicine™ practitioner is to create safety and spaciousness and empower clients to connect, listen to and trust their own body’s ability to heal and restore.
Holding space and inviting the body to return home to balanced tension: THIS is treating in WHOLENESS.
